One team is coming off six wins in a row and the other a loss, but both the All Blacks and Springboks are coming under heat for their performances heading into tonight's Rugby Championship test in Dunedin.

The All Blacks performances haven’t been as polished as some would like.

Captain Richie McCaw said they’re not overly happy with how they’re going either.

Meanwhile, Springboks captain Jean de Villiers has gone on the front foot to defend the average form of first five Morne Steyn.

De Villiers said criticizing the first five is always the easy way out.

The All Blacks takes on the Springboks at 7.35 tonight while the Wallabies take on Argentina at 10.05pm.
