The New Zealand women’s rugby sevens team will be chasing a fourth straight World Series title and a psychological edge ahead of the Olympics when the series starts in Dubai.

They welcome some new faces to the fold this year, including Niall Williams, the sister of All Black Sonny Bill, and their captain Sarah Goss is excited for what lies ahead.

Coach Sean Horan said his side had fond memories of Dubai having made the finals in all three tournaments and winning two of those.

The Telecom Fijiana will play Canada in their first pool match in Dubai at 9.20 tonight.

They then take on USA at 12.38am tomorrow and Ireland at 3.35am tomorrow.
