New Zealand will have to do without two key players in the Australia 7s tournament.
First they lost speedster Sherwin Stowers and yesterday their key man Lote Raikabula was ruled out because of injury.
Coach Gordorn Titejens remains optimistic about his teams chances despite losing two players. He hopes that his other players will put their bodies on the line and help New Zealand win for the first time in Adelaide.
Tietjens also mentioned that Samoa will be a team to watch this weekend after their victory in Las Vegas.
Meanwhile England 7s captain Ben Gollings said it will be a tough tournament and he is looking forward to helping his team win this weekend.
The Australia 7s tournament gets underway today at 8:30pm, with the opening match between Samoa and France.
