The Gordon Tietjens coached New Zealand 7s team have made it two in-a-row after they beat the Digicel Fiji 7s team in the finals of the South Africa George 7s in the last fifteen minutes by 21-12.
This is the sixth time that the Gordon Tietjens side has won in George. This is after Defending Champions South Africa bowed out in the Plate finals when they lost to England 21-7.
New Zealand's tries came from Ben Souness, captain DJ Forbes and Save Tokula.
Speaking after the win, Tietjens said though they were under a lot of pressure in the first day, he is thrilled his team won again in George.
New Zealand was leading Fiji 7-nil at half time.
Fiji tries came from Osea Kolinisau and William Ryder.
Looking at the results from George, in the Shield Final Scotland beat France 28-19, Wales took the Bowl after they beat Russia
14-5 and England beat South Africa in the Plate final by 21-7.
New Zealand now lead the points table with 48 points, second is Fiji on 36, followed by England on 28 and Samoa is fourth on 26.
