New Zealand won the Australia 7s last night beating South Africa 28-20 in the Cup final.

It is New Zealand's 4th Cup win of the season and leaves them on 134 points, 13 ahead of England on 121, with Samoa on 100, South Africa on 92 and Fiji on 90 points in 3rd, 4th and 5th respectively.

Tomasi Cama, who surpassed Amasio Raoma's tally to become New Zealand's all time leading points scorer, added 18 points in the final, taking his tally to 1172 and 5th in the overall points list, capping an outstanding fortnight for the playmaker.

Earlier, Wales defeated Fiji in the plate semi final and then Argentina 14-7 in the Plate final to gain 12 Series points, whilst USA picked up 4 points after beating Kenya 17-10 in the Bowl final.

Japan won its first silverware beating Tonga 22-5 in the Shield final.
