Reigning IRB 7s World Series champions, New Zealand stormed past a stiff Cup final challenge from South Africa to win their fourth IRB Sevens title in a row by 27-12.

The Kiwis were impressive in outscoring the Africans by five tries, two coming from the Captain DJ Forbes and two from South Africa.

New Zealand's other tries came from Steven Yates, Victor Vito and  Zar Lawrence.

The win has put New Zealand in the lead on 80 points, followed by South Africa in second on 48 and Fiji is third on 44. The New Zealand 7's team has not been beaten in 36 games and has also won a record six tournaments in a row on the IRB circuit.

Meanwhile, Fiji beat Argentina by 26-21 to clinch the plate title this afternoon.
