All eyes will be on Christchurch and Dunedin in what is otherwise a Super Rugby sea of mediocrity.
The Hurricanes named a predictable team to meet the Crusaders while round 17 is a horrible ask for the Chiefs, having to go to Dunedin to face the champions with everything on the line.
Hurricanes hooker Dan Coles says all the teams possess decent backlines but the outcome will be determined by the strength up front.
Coles says that the Crusaders had the best tight five in the competition while opposing hooker Codie Taylor certainly not backing down and Chiefs' Nathan Harris have a similar attributes.
Eight teams will play in the Super Rugby quarter finals next week.
The top team from each conference will make the top four teams while the remaining four teams will come as the best qualifiers.
The Hurricanes will take on the Crusaders at 5.15pm Saturday while the Highlanders will face the Chiefs at 7.35pm.
Tonight, the Blues will host the Waratahs at 7.35pm while the Reds will face the Rebels at 9.40pm.
