Captain Setefano Cakau said he is proud of his side’s performance.
Meanwhile New Zealand Sevens coach Gordon Tietjens knows that Fiji is not far behind on the points table.
Tietjens said he hopes to get back his full squad back before the next tournament in Scotland on the 5th and 6th of May.

NZ leads the IRB Sevens Series points table with 128 points followed by Fiji with 122 points.
