The Fiji sevens rugby team's first pool match against the All Blacks 7s is not the only worry for New Zealand.
Captain DJ Forbes said last year's loss to Kenya in the semi finals is still fresh in their minds but it is Fiji who will be first up for them.
Forbes also said France and Spain are not there to make up the numbers.
Forbes added he received some text messages after meeting Fiji in the USA 7s two weeks ago and now they will meet again in pool play.
All Blacks Sevens coach Sir Gordon Tietjens has named 18 year old Akira Ioane in his final squad to play in Wellington.
Returning to the side are Tomasi Cama , Sherwin Stowers and Ben Lam.
The New Zealand team includes Tomasi Cama, Scott Curry, Ambrose Curtis, DJ Forbes, Bryce Heem, Gillies Kaka, Akira Ioane, Ben Lam, Tim Mikkelson, Lote Raikabula, Sherwin Stowers and George Tisley
Meanwhile, Fiji will take on New Zealand in their first pool match at 2.06pm, their second pool match is against France at 5.35pm and they will later Spain at 7.28pm in their last pool match this Friday.
The Cup quarter finals kick off at 1.33pm Saturday, the Cup semifinals are scheduled for 5.35pm while the cup final kicks off at 8.30pm.
