Tomasi Cama Jnr and Lote Raikabula have been named in the New Zealand 12 member team for the Gold Coast Sevens next week.
Captain DJ Forbes, Tim Mikkelson, Mark Jackman and Kylem O’Donnell are the other players in the team that have played before in the IRB Sevens Series.
Coach Gordon Tietjens who has included six new players in his team said they have been working hard to come up with the right mix of players.
The New Zealand Sevens team lost to Fiji in the Cup final of the Gold Coast tournament last year.
They are in Pool A with South Africa, USA and Canada.
The Gold Coast Sevens kicks off next Saturday with Fiji playing Scotland at 2.42pm in its first pool match.
Fiji will play Tonga at 5.58pm and will then play Australia at 9.46pm.
