Last night it was all about the dying minute goal kick that separated the Southern and Northern Hemisphere teams.

A Dan Carter field goal in the final minute of play saw New Zealand beat Ireland 22-19 in Christchurch, denying the Irish their first ever win over the All Blacks.

The victory gives the All Blacks a 2-0 lead in the three Test series with the third test taking place next Saturday at 7.35pm.

Meanwhile in Melbourne a Mike Harris penalty goal after the full time siren clinched Australia a 25-23 victory over Wales in the second Test.

The Welsh seemed headed for victory until the Wallabies were given a penalty inside opposition half, allowing replacement number 10 Harris to step up and slot the winning three points from close to the sideline.

The two evenly match sides will meet again next Saturday for the third Test in Sydney at 10pm.

Meanwhile in another International match, South Africa defeated England 36-27 and Argentina won against France 23-20..
