NZ adds new player for HK 7s
19 year old Lolagi Visinia of Auckland will make his debut for New Zealand at Happy Valley this Friday.
Joe Webber has also been called into the squad as injury cover for Toby Arnold.
New Zealand will be wearing black arm bands during the Hong Kong tournament as a mark of respect for former All Black and former New Zealand Rugby Union chairman Jock Hobbs, who passed away in Wellington last week.
Players not considered due to injury are Toby Arnold, Scott Curry, Frank Halai and Solomon King.
New Zealand Sevens team for Hong Kong and Japan 7s are:
Tomasi Cama Junior, DJ Forbes, Bryce Heem, Mark Jackman, Tim Mikkelson, Waisake Naholo, Declan O’Donnell, Charles Piutau, Lote Raikabula, Ardie Savea, Lolagi Visinia and Joe Webber.
Meanwhile, the Digicel Fiji 7's team departs Nadi for Hong Kong at 9.55 this morning.
Fiji will play Scotland at 9.06pm this Friday in its first pool match.
Fiji will play France at 5.32pm on Saturday in the second pool match and Fiji's last pool match will be against Australia at 10.14pm on Saturday.
Cup quarterfinals start 3.12pm on Sunday, cup semifinals start at 7.49pm and cup final will be played at 11pm.
