New Zealand under-20 fullback Damian McKenzie has been promoted into the Chiefs squad for the rest of the Super Rugby season.
McKenzie comes into the main Chiefs squad as a replacement for Robbie Robinson who has been sidelined with a hip injury.
McKenzie was part of the Chiefs Wider training group and also featured for the New Zealand Under 20 in the Junior World Championship.
Meanwhile, the Chiefs will take on the Highlanders at 7.35pm Friday followed by the Rebels and the Reds at 9.40pm.
On Saturday, the Crusaders play the Hurricanes at 7.35pm, the Waratahs play the Brumbies at 9.40pm while the Blues play the Froce at 11.45pm
