New Zealand Police are investigating the events surrounding the death of a 22 year old former Fiji resident, before a 16 year old youth is charged over the incident.
The New Zealand Herald reports that the youth is alleged to have fatally stabbed university student Saishwar Krishna Naidu at Finlaysin Superette around 1.30 pm yesterday.
Witnesses told TVNZ that the youth stood near the door after the incident huffing and puffing. According to the witnesses, he was caught by people there at the scene and handed over to police.
