The New Zealand High Commission has been economical with the truth with regards to the visa application of Fiji Judge Justice Anjala Wati, for her 20 month all baby to travel overseas for an eye operation.
These are the words of Attorney General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum in the last hour who said after he highlighted Wati's plight, NZ Immigration responded saying they had not rejected the visa but were still processing it.
Sayed-Khaiyum said this is not the case.
Sayed-Khaiyum said what Wati, a judge had to go through was unfair.
The New Zealand High Commission is expected to comment later.
