The School of Deaf received more than $5000 worth of bedding assistance from the New Zealand High Commission which has upgraded the bedding facility and hygiene level at the hostel.

The school which caters for students from around the country and other Pacific Island countries received much needed new pillows, pillow cases, single bed sheets, blankets and mattresses that are expected to assist 57 students staying at the hostel.

New Zealand High Commission Acting Head of Mission, Peter Lund said he is pleased to provide assistance to the school.
