Gillies Kaka returns to the All Blacks Sevens team for the final two rounds of the HSBC Sevens World Series in Glasgow and London.
Sam Vaka is also named having been injured in January, with the defending Glasgow, London and Series champions sitting third in the overall series standings behind South Africa and the Vodafone Fiji 7s team.
With qualification for the Olympics high on New Zealand's agenda, they face a tough pool in Glasgow with Kenya, Samoa and South Africa as they also aim to win a 13th World Series title.
NZ 7s coach Gordon Tietjens said if they win their pool and go on to win the tournament they can win the World Series.
New Zealand finished last season by winning the last two tournaments.
Meanwhile, Fiji will face Wales at 11.42pm next Saturday. They take on Portugal at 2.48am next Sunday before taking on host Scotland at 6.21am.
The cup quarterfinals will start at 10.28pm next Sunday, the semifinals will be at 1.58am on Monday the 11th while the final will be held at 5.20am Monday.
