Defending Australia and IRB 7's series champion, New Zealand has started a mind game ahead of the opening day of the tournament in Gold Coast tomorrow.
Coach, Gordon Tietjens said that to defend both title it will be tough knowing that it is now three tournaments in a leg.
Tietjens side is in Pool A with Niue, Kenya and Fiji and he believes the pressure is on his team to start the season well.
Meanwhile, the Digicel Fiji 7's team will wrap up their preparation this afternoon with a captain's run where assistant coach, Eddy Waqa will let Setefano Cakau run the show.
The Fiji 7's team will need to be in the top 2 from their pool to advance to the quarterfinal on Saturday.
They will play Niue in their first game at 5.25pm then Kenya at 8.31pm before the last pool game against New Zealand at 12.14am on Saturday.
