16 teams playing in the home of the current IRB Sevens Series champion New Zealand will battle it out for 2 days on who will be crown the 2012 winner on Saturday night.

Host New Zealand is the defending champion and currently tied with Fiji on 51 points in the IRB Sevens standing and they have the most experience side in this competition.
