The Fiji 7s rugby team may want an improved performance this weekend in Wellington but New Zealand has other ideas as well.

Fiji born All Blacks 7s star Lote Raikabula told stuff.co that it was really disappointing and embarrassing losing to Kenya in the semi finals at home last year.

Raikabula added that the USA 7s final loss to South Africa is also fresh in their minds.

Coach Sir Gordon Tietjens will name his final 12 member team tomorrow.

Meanwhile, if all goes well for Fiji in pool play, they are expected to meet either Scotland, Argentina, Canada or USA in the quarters and if Fiji progresses to the semis they are expected to play South Africa, England, Samoa, Australia or Kenya.

Fiji will take on New Zealand in their first pool match at 2.06pm, their second pool match is against France at 5.35pm and will later face Spain at 7.28pm in their last pool match.

The Cup quarter finals kicks off at 1.33pm Saturday, Cup semifinals are scheduled for 5.35pm while the cup final kicks off at 8.30pm.
