New Zealand coach Gordon Tietjens is aware the Digicel Fiji 7s team means business and is serious about winning in Hong Kong after the announcement of experienced players in the 15-member squad on Saturday.
Speaking to Village sports, Tietjens said he takes every Fijian team as a challenge - especially this one with all the big names and only three surviving caps from the last few tournaments.
Tietjens also confirmed that captain DJ Forbes and Steven Yates will attend the second camp on March 18 before the final
12-member team announcement on the 21st.
In Hong Kong, New Zealand is in Pool A with USA, Chinese Taipei and Tunisia while Fiji heads Pool D with Wales, Zimbabwe and Korea.
The three-day Hong Kong 7s tournament kicks off at the So Kon Po stadium on March 28.
