New Zealand 7's Rugby Coach Gordon Tietjens is placing his faith on four of his senior players to deliver the result in the opening round of the IRB 7's series in Dubai this weekend.
Tietjens has hope that Captain DJ Forbes, Vice-Captain Zar Lawrence, Tomasi Cama and Lote Raikabula will stay fit and perform if New Zealand are to scale their former heights in 7s.
The 7's guru accepts that his job is getting more and more challenging each year, and that certain other countries are now better equipped for the rigorous season.
Tietjens believes that close to 6 teams can win the opening leg of the IRB 7's series in Dubai.
New Zealand is in Pool D with Argentina, Portugal and France.
Meanwhile, the Digicel Fiji 7's team will arrive today in Dubai and their opening game on Friday is at 6.20pm.
