With the 2015 State of Origin game 1 ready to kick off tonight, the New South Wales Blues have named a strong side to defend the shield while the Maroons Mel Meninga has named an experienced team to take the shield back to Queensland.
Aaron Woods has been urged to step up for the Blues with a lot of experience under his belt while the Maroons hope that Johnathan Thurston will produce something special for his side.
Thurston will be backed by Kangaroos stars Billy Slater, Justin Hodges, Greg Inglis, Cooper Cronk, Cameron Smith, Darius Boyd, Cory Parker and Sam Thaiday.
Meanwhile, Blues coach Laurie Daley said every player who has been picked for the Blues is enough to defend the title.
The Origin Game 1 kicks off at 10 tonight.
