The National Road Safety Council is still operating without a confirmed Executive Director.
This is after Executive Director Akapusi Tuifagalele's contract was terminated.
Timoci Satakala, who is currently Acting as Executive Director, referred all questions on the now former executive director to the Transport Ministry.
Ministry Spokesperson Sainiana Waqainabete said Tuifagalele was removed because of professional misconduct.
Waiqainabete said investigations were carried out on the allegations after which, it was decided to terminate his contract.
