To prevent students and young people being involved in road accidents around the country, the National Road Safety Council is organising a week-long campaign at schools. The campaign, themed: "Community Safety on Our Roads" aims to raise awareness on road safety and road rules.
The director for NRSC Akapusi Tuifagalele said this would heighten the importance of road safety rules on a large scale.
Tuifagalele said this awareness is an opportunity to work together with stakeholders like the Police, the Land Transport Authority and the Ministry of Education to reduce road accidents involving our children.
