The NRL will investigate Melbourne Storm speedster Josh Addo-Carr and South Sydney Rabbitohs star Latrell Mitchell after the duo were photographed appearing to ignore social distancing rules during a trip to the NSW mid-north coast.

A number of photographs posted on the weekend to Instagram by Addo-Carr and his friends show the duo posing by a camp fire, riding motorbikes and shooting at Mitchell’s farm near Taree.

It comes as the NRL on the weekend introduced strict new bio-security measures at the 16 clubs in a bid to get the competition restarted by May 28th.

Rugby League great Laurie Daley says if it was found that the players flouted lockdown rules, it would be a blow to the game’s bid to restart.
