Vodafone Fiji Bati's captain Wes Naiqama believes the experience of the NRL players in the team has helped the side a lot in their Rugby League World Cup campaign.
As the side prepares for their second pool game against Scotland tomorrow night, Naiqama was full of praise, especially for the local players who have combined well with the overseas based reps.
Fiji Bati and Samoa are poised to serve up another potential Island classic in a likely semifinal qualifier.
They lead their respective pools, from which only the winner will advance into the semifinals.
The Bati is ranked 6th and will now take on 11th ranked Scotland tomorrow and a win will seal their place in the semifinal playoffs.
Samoa, who are ranked 12th have defeated 4th ranked Tonga and a victory by any margin over 9th ranked Ireland will put them through to the semifinal qualifier.
Fiji Bati will take on Scotland tomorrow at 9.10pm while Samoa will meet Ireland at 7pm tommorrow as well.
