Close to $14 million dollars is owed to the Native Land Trust Board in land lease arrears for the past 6 to 10 years, which has now forced the NLTB to look double its efforts in recovering the debts.
NLTB General Manager Semi Tabakanalagi said that they will take drastic action on those who continue to accumulate arrears.
Tabakanalagi added that the NLTB offices' in the three divisions are now open for dialogue with tenants who have not paid their land lease.
