The Native Land Trust Board will safeguard the interest of the landowners in dealing with the Committee on the Better utilsation of land proposed by the Interim Cabinet.
NLTB Spokesman, Ro Alipate Mataitini said the main stakeholders will be the landowners, who will give in their views and thoughts since there opinion is an integral part of the process.
Mataitini said the NLTB has never veered from its role as custodian of native land and the interest of landowners will remain paramount as far as the NLTB is concerned.
This is in reply to concerns being raised by political parties and chiefs.
