The Native Land Trust Board has maintained that they cannot entertain alleged claims by some of the landowners in Natadola that the lease be terminated and land returned to them.
NLTB categorically states that the lease at Natadola is still legally sound and valid with the current lease being Natadola Land Holdings Ltd.
NLTB General Manager Semi Tabakanalagi said that these landowners who are trying to cancel the lease are misled by an adviser, who is known for his six billion dollar promise to the indigenous landowners that never eventuated.
Tabakanalagi added NLTB is only working on the interest of the Natadola landowners.
