The General Manager of the Native Land Trust Board Semi Tabakanalagi passed away at his home at Nakasi this morning.

Forty-six year old Tabakanalagi, who had served the Board for over 20 years, passed away after suffering from a long illness.

Tabakanalagi had been appointed as General Manager last October and is survived by his wife Vasemaca and two children.

His family is yet to finalize funeral arrangements.

In a statement this afternoon, the NLTB said it had placed great hope and faith in Tabakanalagi to take the NLTB forward in the future and his passing has left a big vacuum and he will be missed greatly by staff and the management of the NLTB.

It extends its deepest sympathies to his wife and family.
