Save the Children Fiji is making plans to assist more needy children following the latest findings on the state of poverty in the country on Monday.
Chief Executive Chandra Shekhar said he is yet to see the report, however, they will try to assist majority of the students to at least get education.
Meanwhile, Save the Children Fiji is awaiting responses from seven schools from Vatukoula where 732 students were assisted under a special five week programme which ended on Monday.
Over $52,000 was given to school head-teachers and principals who then provided bus fares and lunches for needy students.
