The Citizen's Constitutional Forum will receive $1.2 million dollars in funding from the European Union for the next three years.
Chief Executive Rev Akuila said the contract was signed today with the EU and this grant comes under the European Instruments for Democracy and Human Rights.
Yabaki said this funding will help CCF to increase knowledge of the Constitution, Citizenship and human rights from the local community level through to civil society within Fiji.
Former Prime Minister Laisenia Qarase said it is rather disappointing that the EU has given this grant to the CCF as it is an organisation that has very little principles.
