The National Federation Party said the Citizens Constitutional Forum does not have a valid reason in saying that political parties who are promoting political beliefs and activities should be banned.
Party General Secretary Pramod Rae said this new thing CCF Executive Director Reverend Akuila Yabaki has come up with and this clearly shows his support for the Interim Prime Minister.
Earlier in the day, CCF had stressed that Fiji should follow the example of South Africa, and create legislations to ban political parties and organisations which are promoting racist beliefs and activities.
Reverend Yabaki had said the SDL party should not re-introduce racist policies and programmes in its manifesto, for the upcoming elections.
