National Federation party has raised serious concern on the deteriorating law and order situation in the Tailevu and Rewa area.
Assistant General Secretary, Bimal Prasad said during the NFP Rewa Branch AGM, delegates raised concern on how the people in the farming community hesitated to come forward to complain for the fear of being victimized.
Prasad said they will be taking the matter up with Fiji Police Force.
When contacted this afternoon, Director CID Waisea Tabakau said that they need to check the statistics on the crime rate in the area before making any comments.
