NFP National Convention Back
Party General Secretary Pramod Rae said this will be the first Convention after the 2006 coup, and Suva lawyer Adi Tupou Draunidalo will open the Convention and the Annual General Meeting at the Korovuto Secondary School. He said NFP will also launch a book about the Party's history, leader and the current situation in the country.
Rae said many issues will be discussed including the People's Charter.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Labour Party will also have its Council meeting on Sunday at the Novetel Hotel in Nadi.
The Party Assistant General Secretary Lekh Ram Vayeshnoi said the Council will discuss the Draft People's Charter however he refused to divulge more information about the meeting.
It is understood that this Council Meeting will discuss whether the Interim Finance Minister and the Party General Secretary Mahendra Chaudhry stays with the Interim Regime or resigns to prepare for the General Elections.
