The National Federation Party had doubts the interim government will be able to fulfill its commitment to hold the General Elections in March next year.
General Secretary Pramod Rae had welcomed the resolution reached by the Pacific Forum Foreign Ministers that elections be held in the first quarter of 2009 but said some actions taken by the Interim government after the events of December 2006 does not show its commitment to hold elections.
The meeting which ended in Auckland yesterday afternoon had concluded that the next election should be held in accordance with Fiji's constitution and that the outcome of the election should be accepted by the interim government and the military.
