Officers from the armed forces as well as the National Fire Authority have teamed up to help clean the Navua Hospital.
Health Ministry's Media Liaison Officer Iliesa Tora says the hospital will remain close until further notice, and the important thing is to clean up the mess left behind by Cyclone Mick and ensure that there is proper power and water supply.
Tora says they are hoping to have the hospital fully operational within the next week.
The Health Ministry is also calling on pregnant mothers within the Navua Area who are expecting to deliver within the next week or two to collect their folders from the health team at Ro Matanitobua House and go to the CWM Hospital for delivery.
