In its effort to minimize the incidents of fire in the country, the National Fire Authority has now started to conduct building inspection in Towns and Cities.

NFA Acting Chief Executive Jone Koroi told Fijivillage news that this is being done to ensure that all commercial industrial and public premises comply with fire safety requirements.

Koroi adds that those buildings who fail to comply with National Code of Fiji and Health and Safety at Work Regulations may not be able to renew their annual business license.
