Also, a family yesterday afternoon lost all their belongings when their three bedroom house caught fire in Korovuto settlement in Nadi.

Nobody was injured in the incident and NFA is now trying to ascertain the cause of fire.

Meanwhile, the NFA is calling on people and business houses to work closely with them to prevent fires from occurring at all.

The NFA Divisional Fire Officer Western Isoa Makutu said that NFA has attended 5 fires so far this year which includes three commercial fires and two home fires.

He said that people should seriously take heed of NFA's advice on how to avoid fires.
