The National Fire Authority is looking at replacing their fire equipments and appliances next year.
National Fire Authority Acting Chief Fire Officer, Jone Koroi said there is a need to continue improving their services and as part of five year replacement programme they will be replacing their fire equipment and fire appliances.
He also said that this exercise will be costly however they have been assured that the Government will consider funding opportunities.
Meanwhile, during Business Plan workshop they were also urged to reduce structural fires by 50 percent by next year which currently stands at 168.
