Police and the National Fire Authority are investigating the cause of a fire which completely destroyed a house belonging to a 51 year old businessman of Nadi yesterday.
Assistant Spokesperson, Inspector Atunaisa Sokomuri said the owner was away during the time of the incident and the estimated cost of damage is more than $400,000.
A watchman saw the fire and alerted police and the National Fire Authority, however by the time firefighters arrived, the house was fully engulfed.
The house completely burnt down with all its contents.
