The National Fire Authority (NFA) is expected to hand in its report to the Transport Ministry on their findings in relation to the bus fire in Volivoli, Sigatoka last week.
Speaking to Fijivillage, Chief Fire Officer Mark Reid said the same officers conducted the investigations into the bus fire that claimed the lives of 12 people at Naevuevu, Sigatoka last month.
It was established that Maharaj buses was carrying 108 students of Cuvu college during the time of the incident at Volivoli.
Meanwhile, LTA Chief Executive Officer Etuate Koroi maintained that it is clearly indicated on buses the number of passengers a bus is able to carry and added they are working with police to clamp down on the overloading of buses.
