The number of people coming forward for the aptitude tests as part of the National Employment Centre has seen a decrease.
That is the revelation from the Director for the Centre, Viliame Baledrokadroka after being asked by Fijivillage as to how the turnout has been for the second phase of the NEC.
Meanwhile, Baledrokadroka said it is the obligation of every unemployed person who is registered with the National Employment Centre to avail themselves for any training or tests that is being organised.
Fijivillage asked Baledrokadroka if they had considered the fact that many of the unemployed are in rural areas and do not have the money to be able to go back and forth from the seven centres set up around the country for aptitude tests.
The National Employment Centre is now in the second phase of assessment where they are having aptitude tests and are currently in the West.
