As expressions of interest have been called for with regards to the life skills training for the over five thousand clients with the National Employment Centre, NEC revealed that they are yet to compile a data base to determine the type of jobs in demand.
Director Viliame Baledrokadroka said they have called for professionals to train their clients however the Centre is relying on this data base to be able to identify the types of jobs in demand.
Baledrokadroka says that once they confirm this database in two weeks time, they will then be able to align their 8 weeks life skills training.
So far, Rakiraki Town is the first town to sign up with NEC to take on attachees and Baledrokadroka said that they are in the process of confirming with the other municipalities around the country.
Meanwhile, yesterday was the last day of aptitude tests in Sigatoka and now the Centre will be having its tests in the Central Division.
