The National Employment Centre attachment program is expected to start first in the Northern Division as part of Government's "Look North Policy".
Fiji Employers Federation General Secretary, Nesbitt Hazelman made the revelation following talks with the Director for the Centre.
Under the Decree which came into effect in January 1st this year, all companies around the country will have to take on attachees on a six months basis.
Hazelman said following discussions with the NEC, they will start the program off in the Northern Division.
So far 5,300 people are registered with the centre and will start training this month before their 6 month training.
