NCC soccer format changed
The original plan was to have the winners of the two pools play in the finals however the eight clubs taking part requested that they have a semifinal and as a result Fiji FA agreed to the request and made the changes.
This will mean that the NCC this weekend will now kick-off on Friday where all of the teams will play their opening game, while on Saturday, they will play another two pool games.
The winner of the NCC will receive $3,000 dollars and the Fiji FA Cup, while the runner up gets $1,000 dollars.
Looking at the pool draws, in Pool 1, 4R Electric of Ba, Downtown of Nadroga, Jolly Brothers from Navua and Samabula.
Defending champions Southern Forest are in Pool 2 with Lincoln of Tailevu Naitasiri, Service Sports of Taveuni and Wailailai Youth.
The NCC will kick-off on Friday at Ratu Cakobau Park and there will be free entry.
