Various teams of the National Council for Building a Better Fiji (NCBBF) will meet with school heads this week to work on a suitable time for charter consultation process to start in schools.
Charter Consultation team's Information Officer Rudra Maharaj said various teams will be heading to schools from today and they hope to reach an agreement with school heads.
Rudra also said they will give priority to exams and will not interfere with the school curriculum.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Teachers Union General Secretary Agni Deo Singh said the charter consultation should not be held during school hours.
His comment follows after directive by interim Education Minister to take charter consultation process to schools.
Singh also said that civil servants should be treated as ordinary citizens and the decision to support the draft charter should be up to them.
