NCBBF Team Invited to Rewa Meeting
Speaking to Fijivillage this afternoon Ro Teimumu also confirmed the NCBBF team and the Great Council of Chiefs Review Team led by Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo are on the agenda.
However, Ro Teimumu stressed that because the two teams are being permitted to make presentations, does not mean that Rewa's stance has changed. She reiterated that the province of Rewa will not participate in the Charter process or the new look GCC.
GCC Review team Chairman Ratu Josateki Nawalowalo said after meeting the provinces of Naitasiri and Serua, it is clear that most of the Chiefs now fully understand the importance for the GCC to meet as soon as possible.
He said they are hoping that the provinces of Rewa and Tailevu will also look positively at their role as they are trying to ensure that the criteria for the GCC membership is fully understood by all provinces.
