While questions have been raised on the amount of money being paid to some consultants in the National Council for Building a Better Fiji, members of the council themselves are not concerned.
Fijivillage spoke to several members of the council on the matter and while many brushed aside the questions saying they were irrelevant, the Fiji Girmit Association's Dhijendra Singh said he believed the taxpayers would get their money's worth.
And Interim Minister for Tourism Tom Ricketts shared similar sentiments.
Yesterday the National Council for Building a Better Fiji condemned the "illegal" leakage of information on the Technical and Support Secretariat's staff salaries and budget to the media.
The NCBBF media committee said that the NCBBF, as the employer, was fully responsible and accountable to the President for the execution of his mandate and as such has every right to hire the right people to ensure the mandate is achieved within the allocated resources and timeframe.
